Planting Trees on the Streets of Melvisharam

You might have seen some new plants around the streets!
Yes, this is an awesome initiative from a team of our young brothers of Melvisharam who have spent their valuable time and energy to make Melvisharam more GREEN. Everyone wants fresh air and green atmosphere, when pollution are increasing and trees being chopped for constructions and other needs its hard to get clean air. To bring back the pleasant atmosphere our brothers have taken the step of planting.

To explore more about this agenda there were few information that was gathered from one of the member of the team which is listed below.

1. What made your team to take this initiative for the good cause ?
Day by day the weather is getting worst in our town. We wanted to make it more GREEN
2. Did you faced any difficulty is initiating it ? How did you managed to resolve it ?
We had two major issues
1. How to plant in street. Do we need any kind of permission ?
2. Sponsors
When we begin, we may need fund to buy plants and mesh for the protection of the plants.
We thought of approaching businessmen from our native for contributing. Our first attempt itself was success. The first businessman whom we approached was ready to contribute, it was his dream as well to plan trees. He helped us in producing the mesh for the plants safety.
Regarding the permission. We met one of the MC of our town, through our friend. MC was also so much interested in the agenda. MC also stated that he initiated this in his area months ago. But it was heartbreaking to hear that it was chopped by someone after around 7 Month. He was helpless.
3. What kind of help and support do you prefer from the people of Melvisharam to retain and continue good cause ?
1st thing is interest towards making Melvisharam more GREEN. By giving permission to plant trees, then taking care of plants by watering.
